YOGAlicious Living Meetup
Living a Life of Peace and Balance is Yummy! Choose a Yoga-licious Body, Mind, and Spirit in which life is Delicious instead of Disgusting. Learn to love your body and trust its wisdom and quiet your mind. Learn the basics from the beginning; an introduction to the 8 limbs of yoga (props/modifications, pranayama-breath, details of anasas-poses, meditation-chanting & mantras, introduction to chakra/energy system, yamas and niyamas, pratyahara/dharana and more). This is a Kripalu ~ Heart Centered Gentle Yoga. Journaling will be encouraged to record the manifestations and rewards gained by beginning this journey inward. A picture will be taken at the beginning and end of the class (optional). RSVP- to sign up contact Connie at (978)335-2409 or lightworkheals@yahoo.com. $15 per class This is a series intended to be taken in consecutive order, however, if a class must be missed, we can arrange a make up class or you can attend the class you miss in the next 8 wk cycle or we can arrange a make up class during the week before the next class. Normally I would request that the $150 fee for the class be paid in advance. This signals to the universe that you are ready to make changes and once you register you will notice a shift and changes begin occurring. However considering the economy I am leaving the option open to what works for you. You can RSVP and pay $15 per class - although this is not intended to be a drop in class. With that being said, join any class you would like. I am looking for commitment. If you don't commit you will not reap the full benefits of yoga and still might think it is not for you... YOGA IS FOR EVERY BODY! Kripalu is a gentle nurturing yoga practice. FIRST CLASS IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED! it is a foundation class focusing on safety, use of props, when to modify poses, and foundational asanas/poses & pranayama/breath). You are encouraged to begin gathering your own supplies (mat, blocks, strap, eye pillow/cover, cushion/pillow, and blanket) Mats are provided and a limited supply of props are available, This is for 2 reasons. It is FLU SEASON... enough said... The #1 reason is that this class is to give you information so that you can begin a yoga practice that you will make a part of your daily routine. MAT IS NOT OPTIONAL. It is required for safety so that you will be secure and not slip out of the poses and get hurt. The props are helpful in the beginning; as you build balance, flexibility, and strength you will not need props as much. You will want your own "tools" so that you can do yoga anywhere anytime YOU need to. I currently have props for 6 people and will be obtaining more eventually. Contact me for cost efficient ways/ideas to find props. BELOW FIVE at Liberty Tree Mall has straps $4, blocks $5, mats $5. A folded wash cloth for an eye cover or a men's tie or belt for a strap). Mats range $5-65 YOGA IS NOT A COMPETITIVE SPORT AND IS NOT A RELIGION. If there is pain there is no gain. "Regardless of your personal spiritual beliefs, we know that there is a divine and universal intelligence behind all of life. It is from this infinite intelligence that we all come and it is to this that we all go back to when we leave this life. This Ã?Â'invisiblenessÃ?Â'.. is something Ã?Â- a force or an energy that we are always connected to because it constitutes the very essence of your life. When you are connected to this dimension of yourself you are united with the very intelligence that creates and sustains all of creation. Discovering and connecting to your higher self does not require and special mountain retreats or far eastern meditations. It simply requires that you look deep within yourself. Discovering your higher self and finding God in your life is not something that you have to go and find somewhere outside yourself. Think of it this way: electricity has always been available to us Ã?Â- even to prehistoric cavemen. Only when we discovered it, were we able to use it. Your higher self and divine guidance is, and has always been available to you. You simply have to discover it to be able to use it." Dingane

Danvers, Massachusetts is a town in southern Essex County and one of the earliest settlements in the area. As early as 1630, colonists had moved in to the area about the time when Salem began allocating land grants and a village was established in what is currently modern Danvers in 1636. Governor John Endicott was one of the first settlers there and he established Orchard Farms, a very large land holding for its time, with 300 to 400 acres.

Danvers has easy access to major roadways and highways north and south has transformed it from a small colonial farming community to a vigorous suburban municipality which is proud of its retail establishments, municipal services and excellent school system.
