Years as lead vocalist singing Jazz, Swing,Rhythm & Blues, and Classical, as well as, Top 40 and Gospel/Liturgical music.She received her classical training at the University of MA in Lowell majoring in voice-performance.She has been the opening act/lead vocalist for such artists as: Gary Charrone of Van Halen/Extreme, Sheena Easton, Tom Sullivan, Barbara Mandrell, and the Capital Steps.

The Sandi Bedrosian Ensemble hasperformed throughout New England, the East and West Coasts, and Europe.Sandi has also starred in many musical productions, theater and opera, such as: Fiorello, Carousal, and Die Fledermaus. In addition she has directed themusicals South Pacific, Godspell, and Joseph and the Amazing TechnicolorDreamcoat.

As a professional voice-over artist/actress since 1997, one of her Comcast ads won the 2004Communicator Award of Excellence.Currently, Sandilives in Andover,MAwith her husband/pianist John Hyde. For over 20 years Sandi hasowned and operatedThe VOICE Studio,amusicstudio in Andover. There theyteach voice and piano, and the musical arts to new and professional artists.

Pianist John Hyde, originally fromBeverly, MA has been playing piano for over 45 years. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, he was also a student of Charlie Banacas and Paul Schmeling. John has graced a multitude of bands as well as doing solo work, spanning everything from Jazz, R&B;, Blues, Cabaret and Classical/Liturgical Music. He has worked with Bobby Hebb, Maria Muldaur, Whoopie Goldberg, Harry Belafonte, and members of Room Full of Blues Band. He played at the Cheers bar inBostonfor 3 years.Most summers he works at theLincolnCenterinNew York, composing and performing the music for some of their outdoor productions. Recently John was the music director and keyboardist for the play Bass Saxophone inNew York City. In addition to writing and performing, he has a roster of students who keep him busy teaching privately. Presently he resides in Andover, MA with his wife, vocalistSandi Bedrosian and he performs throughout the GreaterBostonarea as musical director/arranger and accompanist for jazz, classical and liturgical concerts.

North Shore Singles Kayak Meet Up and Beach Social

Kayak races and beach social in Swampscott Mass. at Fishermans Beach, Saturday August 7 starting at 9 am and running till mid afternoon. Bring your Kayak (if you have one), also your chairs and refreshments. Dress appropriately for the weather. This should be a great Summers outing and a chance to meet up with some very interesting and energetic people. Not to mention there will be a collection of great boats to view and boating techniques to talk about. Clint will be in an orange Kayak so look for the boat and let's get a group of new friends together and enjoy the day. We look forward to Seeing you there. Karen V. suggested this meetup at Breakheart Reservation. There is a beach, playgrounds and great walking -- something for everyone! There are two parking areas at the reservation. Let's park at the one off of Rte 129, which seems to be closest to the swimming beach, and meet at the entrance there at 3:00 PM. We are planning a "Blues and Jazz Cruise" for Aug, 27. The Rock and Blues Concert Cruise departs from the Boston Harbor Cruise gates at Long Wharf, adjacent to the Long Wharf Marriott and across from the New England Aquarium on Atlantic Avenue. Boat boards at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25. Cruises generally last three hours and there is a cash bar on board.
