16th annual free family Easter egg scramble for North Shore residents! Advance registrations are requested! Event begins at 10:30 a.m. with a free continental breakfast and an exciting Palm Sunday celebration service. Registration check-in starts at 12:00 p.m. and the scramble follows, with over 5,000 Easter eggs. At 1:00 p.m., the grand prize is awarded, and the whole family enjoys free hot dogs, fresh popcorn and drinks, while the kids enjoy games, a circus clown, face painting, and free helium balloons given away by the Easter Bunny!

Danvers, Massachusetts is a town in southern Essex County and one of the earliest settlements in the area. As early as 1630, colonists had moved in to the area about the time when Salem began allocating land grants and a village was established in what is currently modern Danvers in 1636. Governor John Endicott was one of the first settlers there and he established Orchard Farms, a very large land holding for its time, with 300 to 400 acres.
